Brenda Madero

I took my first yoga class back in 1996 when I was 17 years old and fell in love with it because it made me feel amazing. I didn't know that much about yoga at the time, but tried it because I had heard it could help with my lower back issues/scoliosis. I was hooked from the first class! I had practiced ballet, flamenco and other types of dance so yoga felt quite familiar but even better than ballet since it was not competitive and was much deeper, more personal.

I have been practicing yoga ...

Marla Elejarza

Marla stumbled upon Yoga more than 12 years ago. After her first yoga class, she was instantly captivated by how Yoga requires discipline and self awareness, not only of the body, but of the mind. Having been in dancing classes up to her early adulthood, she found that Yoga tapped into something very familiar that dancers experience. The opportunity to explore your mind, your body, and your limits... In her quest to learn more and deepen her practice, she completed a 200 hour YTT ...

Martha McCarroll

My yoga path began at home with a VHS!  Like many people, I felt intimidated by attending a public class. Then a friend invited me to my first yoga class where I felt welcoming energy.  I also became hooked to the energy I developed during my practice and to the sense of peace I cultivated afterwards.  I was thirsty for more! I went to as many classes as I could to explore a wide variety of styles.  I liked playing with the different postures (asanas) and the various breathing techniques ...
